Palmetto Hall is a gated community on Hilton Head Island that I desperately want to love. The affordability of modern homes inside of a gated community has my attention. Palmetto Hall has a great golf club with two 18 hole courses, a community pool and community tennis. The beach at Fish Haul Park is a short golf cart ride away, and the community park at Baker Field Park is just outside of the gate. No true beach access and being located close to the airport are two cons of the community, but upon the completion of this community tour, the pros far outweigh the cons!
