I was hired to do a custom quilting project on this Jayhawks quilt. I did motifs within blocks using ProStitcher computer and software by HandiQuilter. I also did ruler work and free motion, plus I show you how to work around a large embroidered piece in the center of the quilt. These things are all in my project. However, showing all of this became quite lengthy, so it is divided into parts. This is Part one, where I go step by step on basting the entire quilt so that I can move around, and back and forth, on this quilt.
I do have another video out where I discuss basting. That one did not show details, so I thought I should offer a video of all these steps for those who do want to see the entire process. Please view Part Two for the rest.
This is for enjoyment and also for subscribers and viewers who would like to learn my process, especially for those new to longarm quilting.
