COVID-19 has created an unprecedented situation in the country. Tribal areas in Odisha were worst hit during the lockdown. Sikshasandhan carried out a survey of the migrating population in Ramachandrapur Panchayat, of Mayurbhanj district and, in view of the misery of this group of people, it tried to help them earn their livelihood in these difficult times. Members of the group were persuaded to set up small businesses to support their families. Sikshasandhan with the support of AEIN, Luxembourg extended financial assistance to those who needed it.
