This month we are going to read another contemporary novel in its original text, entitled “Our Wives Under The Sea”. This book was picked by Keti, a member of Lydie’s Book Club and it is the debut novel of the British writer Julia Armfield, published in 2022.

“Our Wives Under The Sea” is Julia Armfield’s debut novel, published in 2022. This is the story of Miri and Leah, Leah has been on a deep-sea mission that did not go as planned. When Leah came back home, her wife Miri noticed changes in her behaviour. So, Miri will try to find answers that could explain why her wife is somehow still attached to that vessel stranded in the deep ocean.
