O cerro de la Viga se encontra no norte do México, mais precisamente no estado de Coahuila. Está a algumas horas da cidade de Monterrey e de Saltillo, capital de Coahuila. Trata-se de uma das montanhas mais altas do Norte do México e maior dificuldade pelo fato de que o é da montanha se encontra a 2400 metros em relação ao nível do mar. Chegando assim ao topo aos 3700 metros.

The Cerro de la Viga is located in the north of Mexico, more precisely in the state of Coahuila. It is a few hours from the city of Monterrey and Saltillo, capital of Coahuila.
