In 1525, Villa La Massa became the summer residence on the Arno River banks of Santi Landini, a famous Editor belonging to the Florentine Aristocracy. Built in 1525 as a fascinating country house for an aristocratic Florentine family, Villa La Massa was the eminent European aristocrats' property until 1948, when it was transformed into a luxury hotel.
