Fixing deep scuffs and cuts on the heels of a woman's shoe. This job was made difficult as the material was not leather and kept shedding fibers as it was sanded. A better approach would probably have been to cut the surrounded area to make space for the filler. Will try that next time I have a similar job.

Depending on your application, you may need sand paper, I usually use something between 400 Grit and 1000 grit
Also an xacto knife may be useful
