We’ve loved pulling shots on the Flair Pro 2. Over the years, we’ve fielded many questions about how to make great espresso at home. Our answer was that espresso was either a very expensive endeavor for the home barista or something best to experience at a cafe.

Manual espresso makers like the Flair have changed that equation, however, and it’s now easier — and cheaper — than ever to make outstanding espresso drinks at home. The bit of muscle power it takes to operate is more than made up for by the quality of shot that you get, and, honestly, there’s just something to the haptic feedback you get from this hands-on approach.

In this video, Maud shows you how the Flair Pro 2 works and gives a few pointers for making the best shot. We’re launching this around the 4th of July, so we’re going with an Americano made with our limited edition Kona blend, Ameri-Kona!
