In this video, I show off my DIY lift lights which were built using items I purchased off of Amazon. These lights are awesome for lighting up the underside of vehicles when working on them and almost eliminate the need for alternate lighting. They are simple to build and only require a solder iron to solder the wires onto the LED strips and some electrical know-how to wire them into your lift. The power supply I used will handle 220V input so that makes wiring easy.

Here is the switch I used to turn on and off the entire lift. This isn't required for the lighting but I figured I'd include a link if someone was interested in adding this to their lift. If you are installing a lift, I highly recommend this as an easy, fast method to stop the lift in the event it gets stuck in the on position. It will act as a safety stop switch that is faster to access than going to the breaker.

So far, I love the lift and have used it to change oil in several vehicles, do brake jobs on a couple trucks, replace the fuel pump in a Lincoln Navigator and remove the running boards on a Chevy Silverado truck. It has worked flawlessly and I feel comfortable under it now that I have come to trust it's capabilities.
