Bhagwaan Dada is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language drama film starring Rajinikanth in the title role, with Rakesh Roshan, Sridevi, Tina Munim, Paresh Rawal, Danny Denzongpa and Hrithik Roshan in pivotal roles. The Film is directed by J. Om Prakash. The plot is about a criminal who becomes morally redeemed through his love for a child. The movie was dubbed in Tamil as Agni Karangal.

Synopsis:

The plot follows Bhagwaan, a naive village-born man who comes to Bombay with only Rs. 80, which he loses to a thief. A man named Swaroop helps him recover the amount and advises him to return to his village, but Bhagwaan decides to stay. Bhagwaan gets involved in crime to survive and becomes part of the gang led by Shambu Dada. However, he draws a line at committing violence against women.

When an impoverished widow, leaving behind an orphaned baby, Bhagwaan's conscience is awakened. He rebels against Shambu Dada and vows to atone for his past by adopting the orphaned baby as his own son. The film showcases Bhagwaan's transformation from a criminal to a morally upright man.

It's a touching story of redemption and the power of love and compassion.
