Rock 'n' Roll music originated in the late '40s America and spread throughout the world because it made people dance and have fun. Music stalwart G Ramanathan first introduced this in Tamil cinema with his foot tapping Yaaradi Nee Mohini song. Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy also used Rock n Roll in their songs and so too did Ilaiyaraaja. But why did this vanish from Tamil film music after the '90s? Watch this video to know more.
