This is a short video showing how to find a player pointer in Terraria as well as creating a script that will auto-find the pointer for you. There is no voice over in this video.

It is also recommended to open "more information" before opening the disassembler to try to find what CE thinks the pointer is. you can then copy that pointer address, and dissect the data structure like I do around the end of the video. This way, you can confirm the address is indeed the player pointer. you can also just wing it if you really want to.
