WHEN DOES GANGOTRI TEMPLE OPEN THIS YEAR ?
GANGOTRI temple opening and closing dates:
Gangotri temple opens on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya in the month of April/May and gets closed on the at the time of the Diwali festival. It remains open for six months of summers only.

WHERE TO STAY IN UTTARKASHI ?
Situated on the banks of Bhagirathi River, Uttarkashi is a bustling town and important commercial hub in the district.
