This Oconomowoc Chamber Orchestra video features a reading of the Chatfield Poem about violin making. Frank S. Chatfield created a matched string quartet of instruments, and this poem shares his sentiments about the place that effort took in his life.
It is read by Amber Eggleston, Tyler Wacker, Logan Van Schyndle, Emma-Jean Swanson and Vera Novobielski. These instrumentalists also share what it was like to play on the Chatfield Instruments.
The music that underlies the opening and closing moments of the video is the Fanfare for Lake Country composed by Crawford Gates and performed by the Oconomowoc Chamber Orchestra.
