An explosion case occurs in Hong Kong, and former bomb disposal expert Pan Chengfeng (played by Andy Lau) is found unconscious at the scene, leading the police to suspect his involvement. Upon waking up, Pan Chengfeng must go on the run while uncovering the truth. However, his friend Dong Zhuowen (played by Liu Qingyun) and his ex-girlfriend Pang Ling (played by Ni Ni) tell him two completely different stories.
