In this video, I'm Fixin'Up a 2011 Lincoln Navigator that wouldn’t start but would turn over fine. My wife was driving it when it just stalled and wouldn't restart. The fuel pump was my first thought and I dropped the tank and replaced it, but it was not the issue. Baffled, I did a good bit of research, looked at some wiring diagrams online, used Ford Expedition in place of Lincoln Navigator and ran across some articles talking about the Fuel Control Relay Module. I searched to see if that part existed on the Navigator and found the part online. I saw a lot of articles about it on the Ford F-150 and guessed it was in the same location (rear drivers side on the frame rail behind the rear tire) and it was. This is a $65 part that can be changed out on about 15 minutes and once I did, it solved the problem. So... be sure to check this part before dropping the tank! This will save you a bunch of work and since the part is generally returnable, you have nothing to loose by trying!

The part number is RY1712 and appears to be the same used on many Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

You can find it here using my Amazon Affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3iUlC3x if you wanted to order it online.

Thanks for watching and I hope this saves someone else the hassle of replacing the pump when you don't need to.
