In 2017, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established the “Japan Construction International Award (Honored by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism),” which commends (1) “Quality Infrastructure” projects that Japanese companies have participated overseas, (2) small and medium-sized construction-related companies which are pioneers in their overseas business, and (3) pioneering activities such as research and development and capacity building that contribute to the realization of “Quality Infrastructure” abroad. Through this award,
we aim to further promote “Quality Infrastructure” and strengthen the presence of Japanese companies in overseas markets.
