The trees have leafed out and fishing is heating up! I am glad we stocked up on Hickory Shad two weeks ago, it is one of the favorite foods for Big Cats. We salted them heavily with kosher salt and cut them into thirds. The weather warmed up and we had a good rain storm causing the fish to be very active. We were able to share a bunch of these Catfish filets with friends and family and still have enough to last us into the fall. Adventure is calling! Get out there and be somebody!
