I'm replacing Metal Clips with Bed Bolts to hold a bed together.
These metal clips interlock, and they seem great for "knock-down" ability of the bed. But over time, they just bent, leaving a bed frame that is loose and squeaky.

Instead, I took the bed apart, and drilled the frame to use bed bolts instead. I also added some 3/8" dowels for strength and alignment.

This was a Saturday "get it done" project, so I did not want to take a lot of time with filming. So I just set up the GoPro camera and set it to take a timelapse, shooting one photo every five seconds.

The result is maybe not pretty, but it is strong and ridgid, and still breaks down easily for moving.

AT THIS TIME, I DID NOT TRY TO CLEAN UP OR RE-STAIN THE BED FRAME. I KNOW IT LOOKS A BIT BANGED UP. THIS PROJECT WAS JUST FOCUSSED ON REPLACING THE HARDWARE WITH BED BOLTS. I know, I'm still going to get comments on it...
