If you're looking for a relaxing day out exploring cute creative and cultural stores, hipster cafes, galleries and exhibits by artists and creative business housed in abandoned warehouses - Taipei has two cultural and creative parks that you should definitely visit!
Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei's Xinyi District used to be a Tobacco Factory while Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Zhongzheng District was originally an abandoned sake factory that was later repurposed into Taihoku Winery - both built by the Japanese. Even if you're not really into arts, there's plenty to perk your interest! Also located round the corner of Songshan Creative Park is a super aesthetic Parisian vibe cafe called Numero Quatre Taipei, another great place to chill out.
