Ultras Garuda is the national team supporters group of Indonesia. They have several sub-groups called 'seizones' across the country. In Indonesia national unity when it comes to football is difficult due to the presence of rivalries, particularly amongst supporters of the big fan bases of the clubs- Persib, Persija, Arema and Persebaya.
Indonesians are highly patriotic and nationalistic, however, the presence of internal conflicts have always posed a threat to national unity in football. With the growth of Ultras Garuda, the country and its fans have found a unifying identity to serve the nation during its National Team games.
