KMi FTSx5 is from the movie stealth. I have been trying to get this to fly with static wings before I add swing. I have yet to get it to go and and attempt landing.
This is the series of todays tests. The biggest issue right now is that it isn't tracking straight. Will try a dual front wheel option as well as front wheel that is twice the thickness. Since it won't track straight, trying to "turn" while taking off causes it to slide. The few times I got in the air (2x) I was so far left to track straight that the "rudder" was causing immediate failure.
I did get a 10s flight today. Which is MUCH longer than anything so far so that means I am close. Unfortunately, I didn't flip the flaps up once in the air and flaps down cause it to twitch and come done. The "repair" section of this video is after that flight. Apparently I started recording after the flight instead of during.
