Join Happy Path Travel on a day hike along the Sunrise Rim Trail in the Mount Rainier National Park. In this video we hike from the parking lot at Sunrise Lodge completing a 6 mile loop that take us past Frozen Lake, the #BurroughsMountain, views of the White River and Glacier Basin (part of Emmons trail). We get to the high-point on the hike at the first Burroughs Mt, with a view of Burroughs 2, and Mt. Rainier beyond. We made this hike in July and still had some snow on, and near the trail. On the return part of the loop we pass Hidden Lake and walk through the Sunrise base camp, the only restrooms (vault toilets) that you will see on this hike. We try to capture as many of the incredible views that Mt. Rainier has to offer.
