One of the greatest budget ultralite backpacking mess kits is the walmart grease pot. These have been popular for about 10 years now. They stopped making them for a long time, but are back at it now. They are lightweight aluminum and hold 1.5 quarts of water. Very good item for backpackers and preppers. I keep several of these around the house to be used in bug out bags.
