Carbon arrows are a popular arrow choice for both compound and traditional bow shooters. Some consider them to be the best arrow choice out there. With a little know how, it's easy to build your own even without a cut off saw and all the fancy tools they have at the pro shop. Carbon gives you a lot of control over FOC and EFOC using various means discussed in the video.

In this DIY video Clay Hayes shows how to trim carbon shafts to length, install tip inserts, discusses the Gold Tip FACT system, aligns broadheads and does a little broadhead tuning. When finished these arrows are ready for bowhunting and, given the proper combination of arrow spine, length, and tip weight, will shoot well from any recurve bow, longbow or other traditional bow.
