This is a short video of my top 6 issues I have had with my Porsche Cayenne V6 variant. Let me know what you think and leave your comments below for the group.

1. AIR SUSPENSION
Models with air suspension are prone to failing. The traditional conversion is switching it to traditional coils which is arguably more liable. Mine is a base model so it did not have air suspension but I do know it is a common fail point.
BRAKE PADS/ROTORS
Pad, rotors and pad sensors go faster than most cars of this size and I assume that is because of its weight. It is a heavy car to say the least so expect to change your pads more frequently than normal SUVs.

2. HEADLIGHTS
My headlights hazed over time from being exposed in the sunlight. I resurfaced mine so they are very clear now and looking excellent.

3. PCV VALVE DIAPHRAGM
This is an expensive fix because it is integrated into the valve cover on the V6 variant and dealers won't replace just the diaphragm, they replace the whole valve cover and the job is about $2,000 to $2,500. You can, however, replace only the diaphragm which is about $90 for a good quality one and this is exactly what I did. My valve cover was in mint condition and I just didn’t see why I would need a new cover.

4. REAR HATCH STABILIZER BARS/ WINDOW GLASS BUTTON MOTOR
This can be a pretty expensive job as well and estimated at $1,500. If you follow my channel, you can get this job pretty easily. Make sure to subscribe and check out the library for the DIYs.

5. 02 SENSORS
Both pre and post sensors on my Cayenne have been replaced. If replacing the sensors don’t fix your CEL, it is your cats that have gone out or you can get bunks to override the CEL

6. RADIO RESET
Once in a while, my radio resets once the car is turned off and all my radio stations reset to factory which is super annoying. My seat settings etc. do not change though. If you have any ideas, let me know. I was thinking the battery may be losing charge but seems like it is holding according to the gauge meter.
