300+ pound black bear viewed with a FLIR PS32 Thermal monocular. Here in Fort Bragg California. I purchased a hot shoe for the FLIR and a cheap ebay dvr that I got burned on, at least it works. The bear started to flank me so I decided to not chance it and came back inside. I have ran into some bad bears over the years that decided I looked edible. They are not your friend and they are not cuddly in the wild.
