I see the cops cracking down on street vendors on Roosevelt Avenue Jackson Heights in New York City. Are the police also cracking down on the massage parlors that have become known as the Market of Sweethearts?
Jackson Heights and Corona is becoming known for the brazen Asian massage parlors that allegedly offer more than just massages. As someone who grew up here, I can see the increase in NYC crime and these massage parlors out in the open are an example of it. Are the police shutting them down or are they still operating right in the open in front of the NYPD?
I take a walk starting from Junction Blvd in Corona to see what kind of things you can buy from street vendors. Jackson Heights Queens around Junction Blvd and Roosevelt Ave is known to have some of the best street food in New York City. As I walk down Junction Blvd I see much less street vendors than I did in the summer. Is this just because of the cold weather or are the cops cracking down on vendors without a license?
As I turn onto Roosevelt Avenue, I see the police are in the process of shutting down and confiscating a food vendor's cart.
