Kent grew up as a chubby but athletic kid who had to deal with teasing from other kids. As he enters college, he finds himself dealing with the culture of eating outside with his friends.

He gains most of his weight when Malaysia went into its first lockdown. He started feeling numbness on his legs which urged him to seek medical help, where he finds out that he could lose weight by performing a gastric bypass surgery.
