There is Joy in the City
Acts 8:1-8

"Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said...So there was great joy in that city." (Acts 8:5-6,8)

Practices that Enabled the Early Christians to Impact Their Culture:
Embraced suffering.
Embraced ordinary people to do the work of God.
Embraced people who were different than them.
