Jake Piseno has been dominating in his rookie PLL season. He has 22 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers with the Denver Outlaws. He was also named an All-star for the West team. His aggressive style of over the head checks and heavy transition was questioned whether it would work in the pros. I would argue that this play style has an even better effect with the shorter field and shot clock in the PLL. He has proven to be a threat off the wings with his elite ground ball skills. This type of player is going to become more and more valuable in the PLL. Playing on both sides of the field is crucial in pro lacrosse.
