a/political Introduction to Democracia is the second episode in the series.

Founded in 2001, Madrid-based collective Democracia explore the imaginary, symbolic, semantic, and iconographic facets of power, violence and the status of the spectator. They do so through projects, public action and working processes set in the cultural, urban and socio-political context of democratic society. Their work comes in the forms of messages, simulations, artefacts and critical mechanisms using over-identification as an artistic mode.

Democracia’s ORDER, an a/political project, is currently exhibited at M|A|C - Mataró Art Contemporari until 25 September 22.
