Real-life comparison of the beams/spots and spills/coronas from the Sofirn SD01 handheld divelight with the Light-for-Me 4NW/4TEC- and 4XPG-mainlamps at different settings. Recorded at the '21-m-wreck' in the Vinkeveen lake at 20m depth. The 4TEC/4NW has a beam of 6 degrees and hardly any side spil light. The SD01 has a slightly wider beam (a few degrees) but a much wider corona. This is fine for recreational dives but less to not suitable for communications during a technical dive.
