The 14th century was an awful period for most people - disease, wars and economic oppression made life pretty hard. 1381 was a tipping point, when thousands of ordinary people across South East England decided they'd had enough and took part in the so-called Peasants' Revolt against the authorities. But this was about much more than angry men from the countryside wielding pitchforks. Watch this video to learn more about the revolt that was still talked about centuries later.
