We spoke to Mr Satpal Singh, Veer Chakra of 8 Sikh who took 4 bullets, yet was able to lay accurate fire and kill Pakistan Army Captain Karnal Sher Khan during battle of Tiger Hill. Captain Khan was later awarded Nishan E Haider, Pakistan's highest gallantry award after recommendation from the Indian Army. Mr Singh joined Punjab police, and manned traffic before being elevated as an ASI.
