Isle of Man Steam Train Ride – Port Erin – Castletown – Exploring the Island – Virtual Walking Tour

Welcome back to another video from the Isle of Man

Today is a mixed video, we take to the South West of the Island and explore, Trains – Stations – Deserted Pools – Beaches & Harbours

Starting at Castletown station we travel by steam train to Port Erin.
Port Erin is a seaside village with a harbour and sheltered bay, popular with families and water sports enthusiasts.
We then take a walk along Port Erin Promenade to the harbour wall, then over to the other side of the village up on the cliffs towards Bradda Head.
On way we see the remains of an old abandoned sea water swimming baths, now derelict.

Back in the centre we take the train back to Castletown, once the capital of the island and the stronghold of Norse Kings, for unfortunately what turned out to be a very brief look at this lovely town.
Sadly, I ran out of battery, back up power and sim space after a long day filming.

This beautiful island in the Irish sea is one of my favourite places in the world and is the one place I could easily call home.
