Raghurajpur is a well known village for Pattachitra where lives famous Pattachitra artist Bhaskar Mohapatra.
A painting titled the ‘Tree of Life’ by Bhaskar Mohapatra has been presented to French President Francois Hollande by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the government statement, the painting reflects the traditional societal respect for nature in India.
