Mystery Island in Vanuatu.
You get to Mystery Island by taking a 15-minute tender ride from the cruise ship.
You can get their tender tickets either by pre-purchasing one of the cruise tours or by getting a token from the Ocean Plaza early in the day.
The island has a sturdy new pier, where visitors can take photos and look back at the Carnival Luminosa ship.
The economic infrastructure on the island is based on A$5, with everything being divisible by five.
Visitors can purchase souvenirs from the small vendors at the marketplace, which include bright clothes, sarongs, pants, shirts, and other items.
The money spent on the island goes to boost the local economy.
Visitors can also donate school equipment to the local school.
The island has beautiful totem poles with intricate carvings, and visitors can explore the airstrip & the airport terminal, which is one of the few permanent structures on the island.
You are serenaded by the local performers.
I warn visitors not to take shells or coral back to Australia due to biosecurity rules.
