How It Works
1. *Sensors Integration:*
*Environmental Sensors:* These include wave height sensors, wind speed sensors, and sea state sensors that provide real-time data on the marine environment.
*Positioning Sensors:* GPS, inertial measurement units (IMUs), and other positioning systems ensure accurate location tracking of both the mother ship and the USV.
*Proximity Sensors:* These sensors (such as LiDAR, sonar, and cameras) help in detecting and avoiding obstacles during the launch and recovery process.
2. *Automated Control System:*
The system integrates sensor data to control the launch and recovery machinery.
It uses algorithms to calculate the optimal timing and positioning for deployment and retrieval, minimizing the impact of waves and ship movement.

4. *Recovery Process:*
The USV approaches the mother ship, guided by positioning and proximity sensors.
The recovery apparatus extends, often using a robotic arm or a cradle system.
Sensors guide the USV into the recovery mechanism, compensating for any ship movements and ensuring a secure capture.
The USV is then hoisted back onto the mother ship, with the system adjusting for any pitch and roll of the vessel.
