The Kia Picanto is an excellent all-rounder and one of the best in its class. Designed as a compact city car with a sensible approach to practicality and interior design, the Kia Picanto is sold as a five-door hatch and a decent little petrol power unit. Whichever engine you choose, the Kia Picanto is great fun to drive, with accurate steering, decent grip, some nice body control, the car feels agile but as well as planted through bends, but has a slightly firmer ride than some of its rivals.
There are seven different trim levels to choose from with the Kia Picanto: 1, 2, 3, X-Line, X-Line S, GT-Line, and GT-line S. The '3' is our choice as it represents the best bang for your buck. Thanks to a long warranty, seven years or 100,000 miles, the Kia Picanto makes for a fantastic used car and will maintain a decent residual value. New prices from around £11,000 and soar well above £15,000 for the top-spec Kia Picanto GT-Line S. The Kia Picanto is a great cioty car and feels compact on the road, letting you nip through gaps in traffic. The steering is light when parking and it is generally an easy car to drive.
