Goodwood Motor Circuit is inseparable from its history as RAF Westhampnett, an emergency landing airfield for fighter aircraft during WWII. Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard was as good a time as any to remember Goodwood's past as an essential part of the war effort. In this video we remember Billy Fiske, an American racing driver and Le Mans veteran who joined the RAF and was killed in action after bravely trying to recover his badly damage Hurricane to base near Goodwood.
