After a three-year absence, Bayer 04 Leverkusen's youngsters were back in the UEFA Youth League. So far, Bayer 04's talents have increasingly competed against opponents from the domestic A-Junioren-Bundesliga before they were allowed to show themselves at the highest level this season (2022/23 season). On the international stage, duels with FC Brugge, Atlético Madrid and FC Porto awaited the #Bayer04U19. Few people know what the hard everyday life of the youngsters is like. In addition to training, the stress of travelling and the games, there are exams, training and, in some cases, organising everyday life 500 kilometres away from the family on the agenda. We accompanied Bayer 04's youngsters on their Youth League trips, took a look behind the scenes and collected interesting impressions from players such as Noah Pesch, Isaiah Okafor, Roy Steur and Maximilian Neutgens as well as from those responsible at Bayer 04, Thomas Eichin (Head of Youth & Women), Sven Hübscher (Coach), Ramazan Özcan (Goalkeeper Coach), Marcel Podszus (Team Coach), Ahura Bassimtabar (Physiotherapist).
