Part 1 of our motorcycle tour through the Balkans shows our travel points: Salzburg with a visit to the city and the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Then we go to Bled in Slovenia, where we meet our friends Jürgen & Christina for a lunch break. After that we travel to Crikvenica in Croatia. Then we go on the Jadranska Magistrala to Zadar and from there to Omis. We continue to Mlini from there boat tour with sightseeing of Dubrovnik. We drive through Montenegro, also around the Bay of Kotor, to our destination for the day, Shkodra in Albania. Here we visit the capital Tirana, Kruje the ancient city of Apollonia and Orikum. We drive over the spectacular 1027 m high Llogar Pass with its bunkers, make a stop at the submarine bunker and reach the Ksamil peninsula near Corfu. Here visit of the ancient port city of Butrint. Then we take the pontoon ferry to the mainland and Greece to the Meteora monasteries. From there we return to Albania in part 2.
