When you screw up, you need to be able to admit it, and today I screwed up! Today is Great AMC Day at Edgewater Motorsports Park in Cincinnati and myself and the 1979 AMC Spirit AMX were supposed to be there. In fact not only were the car and I supposed to be there but Lucore Automotive was a sponsor and trophy presenter for the Church Of Bad Decisions, Best Bad Decision!

Unfortunately through a combination of bad look, poor timing, bad decisions, and a general lack of maintenance we ended up with a number of issues that sidelined the car and made it impossible for me to attend. To everyone who put on this event I'm extremely sorry, for everyone who attended the event today, I'm sorry I didn't get to see you and chat with you! I promise next year I'll not only be there, but this AMC 304 V8 will be swapped out for the new AMC 304 Max Bore motor we have had sitting here for a year! Or... maybe one of the other 2 1979 AMXs will be done!

No excuses, when you make a mistake, own it, apologize, improve, and do better next time.
