My views on Khyam's Biker Plus tent, which hopefully compliment Phill Elston's review and findings, showing a few shortcomings and possible ways to improve it further, as well as showing how long it takes to put the tent up and take it down.

I also try and show in detail just what size human being this tent really accommodates, because the 'floor plan', I feel, is a little misleading.

The one shortcoming that I particularly focus on, is the front support and how (in my opinion, and based on other models of Khyam tents) it could be improved even further! This would vastly reduce times putting the tent up and down.

Khyam took on board much of what Phill showed them in his first video and produced an improved version, which he shows us in his follow-up video:    • Khyam Biker Plus (Limited Edition) Tent   - the Special Edition.

Viewers interested in this tent will almost certainly have watched Phill's videos and looked at Khyam's website... Phill does point out that the one they sent him was a pre-production model, and that further improvements were in the pipeline.

On their website - confusingly - there are TWO versions of the Special Edition!!! Both are the same price and both are the same SKU Number (110068), but are very different! Looking at the website, aside from the obvious looks, I guess the latest one (and in my opinion, the best one) is what they list as the '2020 Biker Plus'! The original (Black & Orange) one does not seem to be listed anywhere and even on Amazon.co.uk is listed as: Currently Unavailable, so I guess Khyam have totally discontinued this!?

Another thing I have noticed... Khyam list 2 heavy duty Ground Sheets. One is the one I have, and one is specified ONLY for the SE version of the tent! I would love to know the difference!?

I, as Phill did, will send this video to Khyam and hopefully they will make an even better model - assuming they (and you) think what I have to say is valid! 😂

UPDATE - Sunday 21st JUNE 2020. I uploaded this video with Description and Links at 17.00 today... I then updated the video and uploaded that just after 21.00... In that 4 hour period, Khyam have updated their website and removed the link to what I have described as the 'older improved' tent! The 'most recent' one's page has also updated, with more and better pictures (and if I didn't know better, a price increase!)

It also shows a different floor plan (explaining the SE ground sheet)!
