Today we are driving the Furka mountain pass.
This high mountain pass is considered to be one of the most iconic, exhilarating and exciting drives through the Swiss Alps. The Furka Mountain Pass was used as a location in the 1964 James Bond 007 movie Goldfinger. One curve on the east side of the pass is even named "James Bond Strasse". Along the pass road is the Hotel Belvédère, an iconic Swiss Hotel on the edge of the Rhone Glacier.
