Virginia Tech went into Raleigh and defeated the 22nd-ranked NC State Wolfpack, 73-61. Georgia Amoore led all scorers with 27 points and added 6 assists in the win. Elizabeth Kitley was dominant with 25 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks for the Hokies as well. Diamond Johnson led the Wolfpack with 16 points.
