Lalo Lalo
When at the end of last summer the taliban took the
control of Afghanistan I looked for a way to be close to women and to all the marginalized people who were once again losing their freedom.
I suffered deprivation, fear and I reacted by seeking a contact with the virtuous stories of that wonderful country.
I discovered the singer Ustad Mahwash, the first woman to be awarded the honorary title of “ustad" in 2003 which means "master" in the dari language.
Lalo lalo is a lullaby composed by her, a sweet melody that opens the curtains on a dramatic reality that concerns too many territories of our planet, where the word peace has no place.
Hope you like my version.
Children, keep dreaming of a better world
