Cyclone Roanu causes heavy rains in most parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Normal life has been affected due to intermittent heavy to very heavy rainfall in most parts of coastal districts. The Revenue and Disaster Management Departments of the territorial administration have been geared up to meet any eventuality in the wake of the impending cyclone.
