প্রিয় কবি সত্যেন নাথ দত্তের স্মরণ-দিবসে ‘সত্য-কবি’ শিরোনাম দিয়ে এই কবিতা লিখেছিলেন কবি নজরুল ইসলাম।
সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ ও নজরুল সম্পর্কে ড. সুশীলকুমার গুপ্তের পর্যবেক্ষণ – “সত্যেন্দ্রনাথের যদি কেউ সার্থক উত্তরাধিকারী থেকে থাকেন, তবে সর্ব দিক দিয়ে বিচার করলে তিনি কাজী নজরুল। যতীন্দ্রনাথ ও মোহিতলালের উপরও সত্যেন্দ্রনাথের প্রভাব ছিল সন্দেহ নেই, কিন্তু সত্যেন্দ্রনাথের চারণ-কবির ভূমিকাটি একমাত্র নজরুল ছাড়া আর কেউ গ্রহণ করতে পারেননি। সত্যেন্দ্রনাথের বিদ্রোহের সুরকে নজরুলই জাতির মর্মমূলে পৌঁছে দিয়েছিলেন। সত্যেন্দ্রনাথের বাস্তবতা নজরুল-সাহিত্যে আরও প্রখর ও দ্যুতিমান হয়ে উঠেছে ব্যক্তিগত অভিজ্ঞতার পরশমণির স্পর্শে। বাংলা ভাষায় ঘরোয়া শব্দের প্রচলন করে ও আরবী-ফারসী শব্দকে প্রবেশাধিকার দিয়ে সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ তাঁর যে উত্তরসূরীদের অজস্র ঋণজালে আবদ্ধ করেছেন তাঁদের মধ্যে নজরুল ইসলাম অন্যতম।”

▪️Recitation is my natural talent. Father's contribution in this regard is a lot. I staged many recitals and plays during my school ( RANIGANJ) and college ( SCOTTISH CHURCH) life. It was not possible to perform recitals and dramas due to facing various adverse conditions in SERVICE LIVE .
